Corby Light Blues

Corby Light Blues are the Corby branch of the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Light Blues Club (NYMC).

We’re a friendly and active group made up of Masons from the Corby Lodges who haven’t yet received Provincial Honours. From the moment you join your Lodge, you’re welcome to get involved. No titles, no barriers, just good company and shared interests.

Our members come from all walks of life and every background, united by a genuine love of Freemasonry and the fellowship that comes with it. Whether you’re newly initiated or already finding your feet in Masonry, the Steel Acacias are here to make your journey a little more social, a little more fun, and a lot more connected.

What Do Corby Light Blues Stand For

At our heart, we exist for one simple reason: to bring Masons together in friendship and fun.

Freemasonry thrives on connection, and that’s exactly what we’re about helping members get to know each other beyond the formalities of the Lodge room. No stiff suits, no ritual just mates enjoying time together.

We believe that strong social bonds make stronger Lodges. When you know your fellow Brethren on a personal level, the entire experience of Freemasonry becomes richer and more rewarding.

What We Do

The Steel Acacias organise a wide mix of informal social events throughout the year, giving members plenty of chances to unwind and connect.

Recent activities have included:

• BBQs and garden gatherings
• Snooker and pool nights
• Group meals and family picnics
• Bowling and quiz nights
• Pub meetups and local days out

Most of our events are family-friendly wives, partners, and children are very much part of the picture. It’s a relaxed environment where everyone’s welcome, whether you’re catching up with old friends or meeting new ones.

We also arrange Masonic visits to other Lodges, both in our Province and beyond. These are always popular travelling together, sharing a night out, and supporting other Lodges as a group. It’s an easy, enjoyable way to see Masonry in action outside your own walls.
